The Canadian Flag was raised today at Heilongjiang University Athletes Village. Team Canada gathered around the Athletes Village square to be greeted by Both the Mayor of the Athletes Village and the Secretary General of the Sport Federation of China. As Chef de mission I exchanged gifts with the Secretary General including a Photography book by Canada's first woman in space Dr. Roberta Bondar.
